     Perennial Passage , 2009, Montpelier VT, 2009  Manning's a six-day process-based performance explores domesticity, the collective experience and the ritual of mark making. During the performance, Manning wears a costume made from 2000 clothespins and hangs clothing fragments painted with images to a series of clotheslines. The result is a layered passageway for viewers to explore and experience.  The  Associated Press  coverage of the performance was featured in several national newspapers including  The Boston Globe ,  Wall Street Journal ,  Chicago Tribune , and  Hartford Courant .
